Roskilde is constantly on the move – above all in a cultural sense. One vivid example is the new Musicon quarter. Activities abound in the huge halls, on the skater track and elsewhere in the area – and in a short while the new Museum of Rock will be completed. Already today you can enjoy the front of the building that is actually an architectural feat.
Speaking of architecture ... should you be an’archi hunter’ like me, there is a lot in store for you.
Skt. Jørgensbjerg is a neighbourhood where you will discover the pretty village charm of yesterday.
In the east stands the Energy Tower, an exciting example of ways to use lighting in modern architecture. Keep an eye on the front, which often glows and smoulders after dark. You can alsoexperience ’play with light’ on the so called Culture Walk twisting through the city past several historic gems and modern art.
