There are so many places to go, so many experiences awaiting... Where even to start?
Let the local photographer Christian Klarskov Larsen guide you through his favorite gems in Roskilde.
For one week he joined @VisitRoskilde instagram account, and all his great spots you can see below:
When you are walking in Roskilde center, you will see many old and beautiful houses, with great colors and fine details.
A different view of one of the many boats in Roskilde harbor. The reflection is like a mirror in the water.
Vigen Strandpark (Vigen Beachpark) is a great place to spend a summer day. Take a walk along Roskilde fjord and nature or go for a nice swim.
Sankt Hans Have (Sct. Hans Garden) is a good place for a weekend trip. Enjoy the nature around Kællingehaven, buy a cup of coffee or just explore the green oasis on you own.
RAGNAROCK museum is the new museum at Musicon in Roskilde. It is all about Pop, Rock and youth culture. Definitely worth a visit.
An old gravel pit near Svogerslev, right outside Roskilde is transformed into a perfect outdoor paradise. The area is great for hiking and mountain bikes.
A must-see in AlleTidersRoskilde is Roskilde Cathedral. The cathedral is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is magnificent, at every angle and view!
Time for a break? Find one of the many benches all around Roskilde. I like this one in Folkeparken under a tree. Enjoy you break in AlleTidersRoskilde and find your own great spot.
Behind every door, there is a great story, people you haven't met yet and cool things to see. Which door are you opening this summer?
AlleTidersRoskilde is just looking wonderful in the great shin of the summer sun. Great contrast with the blue clear sky, the green trees and the yellow houses. Palæhaven, the yellow house is a must see in Roskilde.
My last picture on this intatakeover is from Roskilde Habour with this beautiful sunset in the background.
