In June, the elderberry flowers bloom and you can make this refreshing tulip juice
Ingredients: (1.5 litres)
20-30 elderflower blossoms
2 tbsp. citric acid
650 g. sugar
1 litre boiling water
Rinse and clean the blossoms and put them in a large pot with a lid. Rinse the lemons and slice them. Lay the lemon slices in the pot. Mix the citric acid with the sugar and dissolve the mixture in the boiling water. Pour the sugar water over the blossoms, put the lid on the pot and let the juice steep in the fridge for four days.
Strain the juice and pour it into clean bottles. Chill the juice and mix with water – and you have a delicious summer drink!
