Otto Jensen, initiator of the new Roskilde Ring, recommends:
If you are a motor racing buff, don’t miss a stop at Roskilde Ring – the former international racing circuit and the cradle of Danish motorsport. It is today a public park but you can still relive the excitement of the racing days back in the 60-ties where Formua 1 race were being held.
You will also find 10 memorial stones with QR codes activating old film clips and photos of memorable events. For a very special experience, you should visit the Ring on 5 June, the Danish Constitution Day, to watch a parade of classic cars celebrating the anniversary of the opening of the original race track in 1955. A wonderful spectacle!
