The National Park Skjoldungernes Land has plenty of scenic experiences in store for you. One is Boserup Forest that is worth a visit at any time of the year. In spring you will enjoy the profusion of anemones covering the forest floor. In summer, the child friendly forest beach is a popular destination for outings – and in autumn, the golden colours call for a visit on your mushroom hunt.
You should also drop by the Nature Centre that stages free events at regular intervals. Going further west, you reach Store Kattinge Lake, every winter a meeting point for up to 30,000 tufted ducks that you can study at close range from the bird tower on the shore of the lake.
The eastern part of the nationaI park holds another scenic gem, the Bolund peninsula where you can also enjoy a rich birdlife of meadow and fjord birds. There is public transport to both Boserup and Bolund.
